Continuing to push the evolution of their latest project Desire to new heights, Bob Moses reached out to European producer Solomun to remix the title track off Desire. “Desire" (Solomun Remix)” is out today, September 24 and the freshly released remix comes in hot with a re-edit of the “Desire” interactive music video.
Solomun takes an already entrancing dark melodic track and expands upon the guts of it, lengthening it to over six minutes while putting emphasis on specific vocal lines and elements. Originally the track was a collaboration between Bob Moses and Grammy-nominated electronic musician Zhu, who together made the track a visual counterpart in the form of an animation in collaboration with creative agency CTRL5 and animation by Airplan Studio. The video was directed by Owen Brown of CTRL5. For this remix, CTRL5 and Airplan Studio have created a new music video that is reminiscent of the original interactive video, sharing many similar elements with a touch of re-editing.
